Kiehl’s Turmeric Mask

Hi guys, hope you had a fantastic long weekend. We hosted thanksgiving this weekend and it was so much fun. All that anxiety and hard work is so worth the wait. What my skin feels though is another story. I keep breaking out these days due to stress I guess so I have been using this Kiehls Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque. Try saying that 3 times over.

Brown people love turmeric. They not only include it in all cooking, but it will always be suggested as some sort of a healing item. And to be honest they aren’t wrong.

The turmeric extract has been part of the ginger family, Turmeric has been traditionally used in Indian Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine for hundreds of years. In India, turmeric is rubbed into skin to help provide a healthy glow for special occasions. The turmeric root, with its characteristic yellow color, has been also applied in different forms on the skin to help healing or soothe a series of conditions, such as cuts, burns, rashes, itching and eczema.
This powerful ingredient has become increasingly popular in the beauty world and is known to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and has been historically used to treat skin imperfections and improve the brightness of skin.

Leveraging two components of the cranberry – the oil and crushed seed – this berry is a very rich source of antioxidants and is known to be a natural source of resveratrol. The seed oil contains high levels of fatty acids and antioxidants, important for skin health. The crushed cranberry seeds within the formula help to exfoliate leaving skin feeling renewed and looking energized and radiant.

Apply a visible layer to clean skin. Allow masque to dry 5-10 minutes.Rinse with warm water and massage skin in a gentle, circular motion, allowing cranberry seeds to exfoliate skin. Pat dry skin with a soft towel. I love it and highly recommend it. You can ask for a sample, buy the full size or a mini even to be honest. BUT once you try it you’ll want to keep refilling your beauty cabinet.
